I originally came across Crooked Howlet on Facebook. I was instantly drawn to the individual designs and in particular The Curved Messenger. The references to ancient Egypt were particularly attractive as I have been drawn to Egypts rich history since I was a young boy dreaming of being an Egyptologist.
I have to say, the wait for the ring was agonising… you know how you just want to get! If I could suggest one thing which is to introduce a system which shows the progress of the ring, it might just add more personalisation to the purchase process and a alleviate waiting anxiety.
I did send an email to follow up on the progress of the ring and was pleasantly surprised to get a very fast response from Jane who advised that the ring was on its was way and this was backed up by an email confirming postage and providing a tracking number.
When the ring arrived, it was well packaged and beautifully presented. I love that any information I needed to know about the ring was provided in the form of a newspaper titled Nine Bob Bugle, it even provided a transfer certificate should I wish to pass the ring onto another person so the history of the ring continues. It made me think that this ring has the potential to become an heirloom and something that I could pass onto my son. I have many other rings, but none that I had ever thought to pass on.
I would highly recommend Crooked Howlet…. I have my eye on Your Pa’s….so I will be back.
