The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol of a serpent eating it's own tail. It's interpretation is generally that of eternal cyclic renewal or a cycle of life, death and rebirth. 

The design has an engraving around the border, "ἓν τὸ πᾶν", which is from the work of Cleopatra the Alchemist in the 10th century, which depicted an Ouroboros serpent, meaning "The All is One".

Caring for Your Rings

To keep your sterling silver or two tone rings sparkling, gently clean them with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft toothbrush, then rinse and dry with a microfiber cloth.

For tarnish, use a silver polishing cloth or soak in a solution of 1 tbsp baking soda and 1 cup warm water for a few minutes, then rinse and dry.

Store in a cool, dry place in an anti-tarnish bag or cloth-lined jewelry box to prevent tarnish.

Remove rings during swimming, gardening, or exposure to harsh chemicals like bleach, and avoid contact with cosmetics or lotions.

Polish gently with a silver cloth, but avoid over-polishing to prevent scratches.
